According to Harvard Health and a JAMA Internal Medicine study, eating vegetarian is associated with a lower average systolic and diastolic blood pressure compared with other diets. Though researchers haven’t pinpointed the exact reason, the assumption is that a vegetarian diet helps to control body weight, which is a risk factor for high blood pressure.

Red and yellow foods: For example, red fruits and vegetables, such as tomatoes, strawberries and red beans, are backed with Vitamin C, Vitamin A, potassium, and antioxidants. Yellow fruits are loaded with Vitamin C, Vitamin A, and potassium.
Orange foods: Orange foods like carrots, oranges, or sweet potato contain an antioxidant called beta-carotene that benefits your hair, skin, and nils, but that can also support healthy vision.
Green foods: Leafy green foods are packed with vitamins and minerals that reduce the risk of obesity, reduce incidence of heart disease, and can boost cognitive health, too. You’ll find plenty of these ingredients in some of Greenspot’s most popular dishes.
